inter alia editing

Clarity, consistency, and accuracy are the foundations upon which legal and academic writing is built. That's where a legal and academic proofreader and copy-editor comes in.

Inter Alia Editing was set up to help

  • lawyers and their staff to refine legal text for publication, ranging from journal articles, legal forms, brochures, literature, and academic textbooks;

  • PhD students and lecturers;

  • publishers and publishing packaging companies to refine text before publication.

Anika’s editing was extremely clear: she identified sections that required improvement in a professional manner, and offered advice where possible. I think my book is much better as a result of her contribution! I have found the process particularly smooth.

Anika copy-edited a book I was publishing, which was adapted from my PhD thesis. She was extremely thorough and professional and took a lot of time to make sure the referencing was all correctly formatted, which is a challenging task. Would highly recommend Anika’s services for any legal or socio-legal project.
— Stewart Cunningham, Research Associate, University of Strathclyde

Anika is diligent, prompt, and meticulous. Her editorial style is highly contingent on inquiry for clear reading and engaging collaboration with writers. She is flexible and proficiently familiar with multiple formatting styles.
